GNM & ANM(R) Nursing Seat Increased in West Bengal (WBNC) | B.Sc Nursing Seat Increased | New Govt. Nursing College in 2021

West Bengal Nursing Council has issued a notice for the opening of new nursing school and college from this academic year. Total 2780 nursing seat has been increased from 2021-22 academic years. Previously 2570 seat has been increased in this same academic year. This is good news for the students who want to study nursing (GNM/ ANM/ B.sc/ M.sc/ P.B.Bsc) from west Bengal.

A total number 33 Nursing institute has been introduced including GNM & B.sc, ANM, M.Sc for both male and female students. As per 27^th august notice issued by WBNC there was a increment of 26 new nursing school and college. Overall in this year total number of 59 new nursing school and college will open including government.  WBNC published a notice on 27^th august, 2021 regarding this. Again West Bengal Nursing Council issued a notice on 1^st September for 2780 new nursing seat. In this article you can know the full details of the newly introduced nursing institute.

This is also great news for the Male candidate who is applied for the male nursing. Previously the seat was for male nursing 125 & now 180 more seat will add to this. Genex Nursing Institute, Care & Cure institute of nursing, & Mukatadhara Nursing instituute will offer private male nursing under WBNC from this academic year (2021-22). WBNC issued a notice on 27^th august, 2021 regarding this.

For ANM candidate previously total seat was 500. But from this academic year a total number of 470 new seat has been introduced. You can see the complete list from the below link.

As per the resolution of the Education & Examination Committee meeting held on 5^th august 2021 at 2.00 pm the under institute are allowed for the mention course from this academic year.
