WB JEPBN is a sate level exam for getting admission in Post Basic Bsc Nursing after GNM. West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) is conducting Joint Entrance for Post Basic Nursing (JEPBN).

West Bengal JEPBN will be held on 1^st July,2023. WBJEEB will conduct this exam.

WBJEEB will released the online application from from  08.02.2023 -28.02.2023.

Exam Pattern

The paper will contain 100 questions. All questions will be of Multiple- Choice Question (MCQ) type, with four answer options each, of which only one option is correct. Time for the paper is 90 minutes. The questions will be in English language only.

Syllabus For Exam

The Paper is based on GNM syllabus.

Part A

Anatomy, Physiology, Sociology, Psychology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Nutrition, Pathology (Total 40 Questions).

Part B

Foundation of Nursing, Medical Surgical Nursing, Paediatric Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Obstetrical Nursing, Community Health Nursing (Total 60 Questions).

Negative Marking       : Yes (-1/4 (25% negative) marks)

Eligibility and academic qualification criteria

• Applicant must be a citizen of India.
• Applicant must be a domicile of West Bengal.
• Gender: Male/ Female.
• The candidate must pass (10+2) level examination from any recognized Board and must pass the GNM course from the Institute recognized by Indian Nursing Council and obtained registration/RNRM certificate from the State Nursing Council of any State of India.
• Upper age limit:  Age 53 years (as on 31.12.2023) for the candidates presently employed by the West Bengal State Govt.
• No upper age limit for others (including ESI and Central Govt. employees).
• Work experience:

candidates presently employed by the West Bengal State Govt. must have at least 3 years

Work experience is not essential for others
